| After arriving at Boca Grande, we dropped the hook off Gasparilla Island for the night. The next day we moved down the ICW to Useppa Island. What a pretty place. We went over to Cabbage Key for a crab claw lunch and then explored the island for a while. There we discovered a conch tree - a small mangrove that people had decorated with hundreds of old conch shells. On the way back we met the local tortoise and breathed the smell of either skunk or skunk weed throughout the island. Bad weather arrived that night and we did the bucking bronco for a while. The next day broke clear but windy. We like this place. We'll stay here for a while.
